Emulation on browser.
With the quicker rate of emulation development. There has been ways to emulate some hardware using Javascript. This allows them to be embeded into a website.
The preformance of these emulators are dependent on the hardware you use.
For n64 and DS games. these need a pretty decent system to run on browser as they use up alot of resorces when doing so.
Browser emulation is not the Best way to use the software. But it is a quick way to get a idea on how it is used and what it can do
The Image map below has Links to a well known emulation site that will allow you to try out the games on screen or even chose your own
Eventually there will be a GBA (game boy advanced) emulator embeded here where you can upload your own ROM Files to use.
